Meet PressPilot

The console you trust, now in your pocket

PressPilot mirrors the Frappe dashboard you already know — the same sites, benches, deploys and logs, over the same REST API. Not a stripped-down viewer: the real actions, live data, and step-by-step deploys, wherever you happen to be standing.

  • Watch a build climb step by step until it lands — no refreshing.
  • Sign in with your Frappe account (2FA) or an API key — password never stored.
  • Frappe Cloud or self-hosted Press — same app, one server-URL field.
  • New to Frappe Cloud? Create your account right in the app.

The whole point

Give your operations superpowers

The desk was the bottleneck. PressPilot puts the same command in your hand — so a wobbling site, a failed build or a quiet server never has to wait for you to get back to a keyboard.

Everything it does

The whole console, in one app

Not a stripped-down view — the same actions you take at your desk, plus a few your desk never had.

Real-time push

A Press webhook fires into a cloud relay and lands on your phone in seconds — deploy results, status changes, plan updates. Smart polling backs it up so nothing slips.

Uptime sentinel

Your phone pings the sites you pick and alerts after repeated failures — then again the moment they recover.

One-tap site actions

Restart, clear cache, migrate, back up, update, activate or deactivate — the real controls, one thumb away.

Deploys with live logs

Watch each step climb to Success or Failure with the real build log — and it rehydrates from the server if the app is killed.

Provisioning wizards

Stand up a new site, bench or even a server from your phone — guided step by step: version, region, apps, plan, done.

Biometric app lock

Face, fingerprint or PIN to open — with a grace window so a quick TOTP hop doesn't re-lock you.

Home-screen widget

Fleet totals — active, down, unreachable, unread — glanceable on Android without opening the app.

QR sign-in handoff

Move a session to another device by scanning a QR — the key never leaves your phones.

Multi-account

Store several teams and servers as profiles and switch between them in a single tap.

Webhooks

Create outbound Press webhooks, pick events, and inspect each delivery's status and response.

Server ops & analytics

Live Prometheus charts — CPU, memory, disk, network — plus Ansible play logs and reboot, snapshot and cleanup actions.

Billing, view-only

Upcoming invoice, credits, subscriptions, forecast and marketplace payouts — nothing to accidentally trigger at 11pm.

…and the depth underneath

Tap any card above, and it keeps going

The headline features sit on a full console — every tab of the web dashboard, rebuilt for a thumb.

Every site, thirteen tabs deep

Add a custom domain with a DNS check, install apps, run a major version upgrade, edit config keys — or jump into the full desk with one-tap Login as Administrator.

AnalyticsAppsDomainsBackupsJobsUpdatesMigrationsConfigLogsPerformanceActivityPlan

Benches, down to the process

Add apps from the Marketplace or straight from GitHub — repo and branch — restart the bench, and drill into each instance: processes, logs, patches.

Server ops, not just graphs

Ansible plays with task-level logs, reboot, snapshot and cleanup — plus Snapshots, Auto-scale and Firewall tabs where your server supports them.

CPUMemoryDiskNetworkIOPSLoad

Teams, roles & access

Invite members, scope Press Roles down to specific sites and servers, view and revoke support-access grants, and read your team's incident history.

Search, shortcuts & offline

Search everything you run, long-press the icon for New site or Notifications, and keep cached snapshots — with freshness stamps — when the train hits a tunnel.

Logs, parsed and readable

A cross-resource log browser for any site or bench — entries parsed and level-coloured, not a wall of monospace.

For Frappe partners

The partner dashboard travels too — MRR chart, leads with follow-ups, customers and contributions.

All in one place

Your whole Frappe estate, around one app

Sites, benches, deploys, backups, servers, billing, webhooks and alerts — every moving part of your operation, orbiting a single home screen.

A day in command

The desk was the bottleneck. Not anymore.

One phone, one Friday. Watch the same ops console carry you from the first coffee to the last train — while the screen on the left keeps pace with the story.

09:02 · over coffee

The whole estate, before you've sat down

Open the app and the day is already there: 29 active, 23 wanting updates, and the one number that matters — nothing needs attention. Most mornings, that glance is all you needed.

  • The "need attention" count sits up top — peace of mind before the first sip.
  • A live timeline of every recent deploy, backup and job.
11:30 · from a parked car

The whole desk, thirteen tabs deep

A client wants their custom domain live and a version upgrade booked. Open the site: domains with a DNS check, apps, config, backups, logs — every tab of the web dashboard, on a phone. And when only the full desk will do, one tap logs you in as Administrator in your browser.

  • Analytics, domains, backups, jobs, migrations, config, logs, performance — per site.
  • Add a DNS-verified custom domain, install apps, or run a major version upgrade.
14:10 · the ink's still wet

Client signed? Ship them a site before the meeting ends

New client, no laptop in sight. Three guided wizards stand up a fresh site, bench or even a server from your phone — version, apps, region, plan, done. The welcome email goes out while you're still shaking hands.

  • New site, new bench, new server — each one a step-by-step wizard.
  • Bench apps straight from the Marketplace, or your own GitHub repo and branch.
17:44 · on the train

One tap to steady a wobbling site

A site goes amber between stations. Open it and the real controls — restart, clear cache, migrate, back up, update — are one thumb away. The pill flips back to Active before your stop.

  • Restart, clear cache, migrate, deactivate, back up or update — one tap each.
  • Need the why? The log browser reads any site's logs, parsed and level-coloured.
21:01 · before the client calls

Your phone tells you before your client does

A failed deploy, a site gone quiet — it reaches your phone in seconds through a webhook-to-push relay, and an on-device sentinel pings your sites and shouts the moment one goes unreachable. You catch it in the ad break, not in a Monday apology.

  • Real-time push in seconds; the uptime sentinel covers the rest.
  • Every alert deep-links straight to the affected site or bench.
21:03 · mid-dinner

Watch the deploy climb from wherever you're standing

That failed build from the 9:01 push, plate still warm. Retrigger it and watch it climb step by step until it lands — and when a step breaks, the screen stops there with the real log, not a red pill. A ruined evening becomes a two-minute fix.

  • Live progress polls each step until Success or Failure — no refreshing.
  • Survives an app kill — reopen and it rehydrates from the server's state.
23:40 · off duty

Never off the grid, never left unlocked

Phone on the nightstand, app closed — the home-screen widget still shows the fleet at a glance. And nothing opens without your face or fingerprint. Carry more than one team? Switch accounts in a tap, or hand a session to another device with a QR scan.

  • Home-screen widget: active, down, unreachable and unread — without opening the app.
  • Biometric app lock, multi-account switching and QR sign-in handoff.

Freedom without a new place to leak

Power in your pocket, kept safe

Password never stored

Sign in once; the app trades your password for a token and forgets it. Or skip passwords entirely with an API key.

Token in secure storage

The token lives in your phone's secure enclave — iOS Keychain, Android EncryptedSharedPreferences — over enforced HTTPS.

Billing is view-only

Check usage and invoices with nothing to accidentally trigger. Glancing at 11pm carries zero risk.

Your own server

Same REST API, so it behaves identically on frappecloud.com or self-hosted Press. Change one field: the server URL.

Straight answers

Questions worth asking first

Is this the official Frappe Cloud app?
No. PressPilot is an independent, third-party companion app from The Tiny Apps Company, not affiliated with Frappe Technologies. It uses the same REST API as the official web dashboard, so it behaves like a faithful mobile mirror of it.
Is my password safe, and how do I sign in?
You sign in with the same email and password you use on the Frappe dashboard (2FA supported), or an API key. Your password is never stored — the app trades it for a token kept in your phone's hardware-backed secure storage, over HTTPS.
Can I create a Frappe Cloud account in the app?
Yes. Tap Create account and the app walks you through it — email, a one-time code, then your details — one question at a time. Existing accounts sign in exactly as before, and either way your password is never stored.
Can I take actions, or only view?
You can act: deploy benches, restart, clear cache, migrate, back up, update, activate or deactivate sites, add DNS-verified custom domains, install apps, run major version upgrades, reboot or snapshot servers, create new sites, benches and servers, manage team roles, and revoke access requests. Only billing is view-only, by design.
How does the real-time alerting actually work?
Two ways, working together. PressPilot registers a Press webhook that fires into a cloud relay and pushes to your phone in seconds; a background poll and an on-device uptime sentinel back it up, with the two paths de-duplicated so you're never notified twice. It's smart polling plus a webhook relay — reliable without a permanent socket.
Does it work with self-hosted Frappe Press?
Yes, identically. Use frappecloud.com out of the box, or change the server URL to your own self-hosted Press instance. If it runs Frappe Press, PressPilot can drive it.
Does it work offline?
Gracefully. Lists you've opened are cached and shown with a "last updated" stamp, and a banner tells you the moment you're offline. Actions need a connection — the app won't pretend a restart happened when it didn't.
I'm not a developer. Is this for me?
Especially. If you run 10–50 client sites and just need to know everything's healthy, updates are handled and backups run, the glance-and-go dashboard, home-screen widget and one-tap actions are built for exactly that — no terminal required.
Which platforms, and is it out yet?
PressPilot is out now on Google Play for Android, with the App Store release coming soon. The home-screen widget is Android-first while the iOS WidgetKit version follows.
Could having everything on my phone be a risk?
No new exposure: password never stored, token in secure storage, a biometric app lock on top, all HTTPS, data straight from your server to your device. It even removes a risk — you can finally revoke stale support-access grants from anywhere.
